A story I wrote about about overcoming adversity and the power of words has been published at Refresh. It is my hope that the story will be a blessing to those who read it.
Great article over at Refresh, Angela. I wasn't picked on in high school; I was just "invisible," one of the nameless, faceless masses at a school of 2,000.
But today, when I meet people and the subject turns to high school, they turn to me and say, "I bet you were a cheerleader. Or homecoming queen!" I just laugh and laugh.
