In the post before this one, I wrote about love as a tribute to my wedding anniversary and to the Author of Life and Love. Those thoughts fresh in my mind, I chose one of my all-time favorite love songs, a song that very much reminds me of my journey to my Professor.
I originally heard the Rascall Flatts version of the song several years ago and love that version as well, but today I opted for the Selah version because (I'm going out on a limb here and revealing my quirky side) I not only love Selah, but I like to lip sync while standing in front of my bathroom mirror. And, I feel less silly lip syncing to a female voice.)
Now that I've lost your respect, here is a beautiful song that I dedicate to my Professor. And if you have a few extra minutes, please read my special anniversary post below. For more beautiful music visit Amy.

Happy Anniversary!
You go right ahead and SING! I love both versions of this song and have this one on my playlist but Rascal Flatts in my Windows Media...love them both and so may God bless the broken road that led you right to the Professor! Good month for Anniversaries! Mine was the first!
Blessings & many more!

This is one of my favorite songs! And Selah is one of my favorites.
I love the Rascal Flatts version too. I had not heard of Selah before, her voice is beautiful as well.....Sing away!:)
I love ALL music...well, not rap, but most other music.
I love Selah, and that song in particular. Good choice, and happy anniversary. Your post yesterday was beautiful.
I LOVE this song. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful. Just beautiful. Blessings on your day.
Happy Anniversary! I like the song as well. Thank you for sharing. God bless you.

I love that song. Happy Anniversary
this made me cry...
how precious...
I so love it...
Oh yes God Blessed The Broken Road. Happy Anniversary my sweet friend.
One of my favorite songs!
Just an FYI - you have an award on my blog.
I love this song...it's resonates on different levels. I'm a fan of the Rascall Flatts version (in spite of my love for Selah!), but the message is the same no matter who sings it. Thanks for posting this today.

What a beautiful anniversary post. I love this song too. I love both versions. The first time I heard Rascal Flatts sing it was with Carrie Underwood on American Idol a few years ago.
Happy Anniversary!
Isn't lip syncing one of the gifts of the Spirit? ;) Seriously - thanks for this song today - Selah is a favorite and running across them here today was a big blessing!
And Happy Anniversary to you and your husband. ♥
Aww what a nice picture of you and hubby.
I love Selah's version of Bless the Broken Road. Who am I kidding I love anything Selah sings. Good choice.
Happy Anniversary.

Happy Anniversary! Very beautiful song!
Happy Anniversary!!! :)
Such a beautiful song, with such a wonderful meaning.
I love this song, too... both versions! I know all about lip syncing in the mirror and this is a great song to do it to.
God Bless!

Ooooo, I'm getting an idea!
I want to see a video of you lip synching!
BTW, I have lost NO respect for you, my friend. I have a couple recordings of duets, and often sing along on one part - as if I were really a participant in the duet. And, at your suggestion, maybe I'll try it in front of the mirror sometime. *grin*
KEEP lip syncing ;)
Beautiful, Angela.
Always enjoy reading your thoughts & what God is doing & dealing with in your life.
I'll try to email soon - we'd love to come visit.
We LOVE Selah in our house!
Happy Anny!

I love that song! Funny, I sound just the same in my head, but when it comes out of my mouth, it's not quite the same.
Beautiful song!
