Taking A Holiday

Somewhere inside of me there is a British woman yearning for escape. Unfortunately words like brilliant and phrases such as "taking a holiday" seem to fall flat when spoken with my north American dialect.

I may not be able to say it like Kate Winslet, but you can read it in her voice. I'm taking a small holiday. We are leaving today for a family weekend retreat of sorts and then on Sunday, the kids and I will be heading South to the family farm for a week.

I'll be back to blogging and reading blogs sometime after November 11th...so please don't give up on me.

Smiles and Hugs,
Angela

It must be the "People who wish they were British Holiday" because we will be away, as well, until the 10th. :)

On holiday as well, from blogging at least. The funny thing is, I never really realized I was! Oh yeah, and I say it with a pronounced southern drawl...
