Dear Friends,
Peter, the sweet infant who underwent hear surgery yesterday, has developed very serious complications. Your prayers would be much appreciated. If possible, please click here to visit his Caring Bridge Web page and write an encouraging note for his parents. I will also forward any comments I receive along to them.
The message below is the latest update from Peter's site.
"Please pray for Peter. He had serious complications from surgery about 2:30 last night and is now on the lung/heart machine. His heart stopped working and the medical team had to perform CPR on him, but could not get his heart to start on its own. The doctor thinks his left lung may be reacting to never having had to work before and his body needs time to adjust over the next several days. He did not give us any guarantees that Peter will come out of this. He may, he may with brain damage, or he may not. All are equal possibilities at this point.
Please keep up the prayers that God's perfect will should be accomplished at this time."Peter with his mother, Kelli

Sending love and prayers to little Peter and his family.
I prayed for him. Thank you for sharing. As a mom, this is heart wrenching.
Peter and his family are in my thoughts and prayers, as are you Angela.
There really are NO words - so my cries & groans will be lifted up this morning!
I've been in his mother's shoes. Today I am blessed with a heart-healthy little girl. She's been a miracle in our lives. Praying that Peter's mother, too, will soon bring home her own little miracle.
This has had me praying quite a bit... but man oh man I almost can't bear it. TO just imagine one of my own chiildren going through something like this (especially having a 2 month old at home) is almost more than my heart can take.
Thanks for getting the word out.
God bless-
Amanda
Merciful Lord, please make your miraculous work done for this family!
Oh, I just couldn't even imagine! They are in my prayers!
Praying for little Peter!
Dear Heavenly Father, touch this precious baby in a way that only you can do. We plead the Blood of Jesus over him from the top of his head to the soles of his feet...bring healing to his little body. Grant his parents the peace that passes all understanding. May that feel your presence right now and may they feel Your arms wrapped around them as they go through this difficult time, knowing you will never leave them nor forsake them. We are expecting and believing for a good report tomorrow. In Jesus Name...Amen!
Please let them know I am praying for them. I can't imagine going through something so scary. My heart aches for them.
