I'll See You In Heaven

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all flaming arrows of the evil one. Ephesians 6:13

Nearly 20 years ago, Twila Paris released the lovely song, How Beautiful. Whenever I hear the words, “How beautiful the feet that bring the sound of good news and the love of the King…”one person comes to mind, my grandmother, MemMem.

The rest of this story is at FaithLifts.

Haven't stopped over to read the rest at Faithlifts, but I had to say that is one of my favorite songs. It embodies so much of the Christian faith and is just (no pun intended) a beautiful song. Now I'll be singing it in my head all day!!! Thanks!! :)

I like that those were her last words to you. That must live on in your mind as you "press on."

I attended the funeral of my friend's father a couple years ago. As I left, I had the overwhelming sense of "I want to be like that man."
After reading about your MemMem, I have a feeling I would say the same thing about her!

Thanks for coming by my spot in bloggersphere! I read your "about me"...what you wrote left me speechless! Wonderful description of life and being in it!

I do remember this song. And I also remember listening to it and trying to sing it while bawling! Thanks for a good reminder.
