I cried the first time I heard this song. In fact, I can even remember where I was when I heard it. I was driving home from a MOPs meeting in Corpus Christi, TX. I had just pulled into the parking lot and Pumpkindoodle and I stayed in the car until the song was over.
Sometimes, we humans get so caught up in appearances that we base more value on how things seem to be in the dark and fog, than what things really are in the light.
Sometimes I get focused on trying to at least look like the perfect mom, wife, and woman, when I should be focusing on who my Jesus really is and how I can be more like Him.
No matter what pain and trials I face on this earth, nothing can compare to the pain and suffering He endured for people who too often live as if His sacrifice was not enough.
He is more than enough and I so want to be more like Him.
Here is Todd Agnew with My Jesus. The video is from The Passion of the Christ.

That movie moved me too.
Such a powerful messsage in that song. Thank you.
That's right--nothing can compare to the suffering our Savior endured. HE is more than enough. What a great reminder. Have a blessed weekend.
Engrafted by His Grace-

I loved this post so much, I am going to blog about it on Monday and refer back to your blog. Thank you for sharing it.
Oh, I love, love, love this song. All of Todd Agnew's stuff is great, actually. He's a true "modern-day prophet."
WONDERFUL movie!!!
Hey, I posted on my site some of the pictures we took in the leprosy colony. I thought you might wasnt to see what it looks like. And think about what it meant to heal those with leprosy, and what it means to be made whole.
Thought it may bring your scripture studies to life.
I never posted my mission statement, but it is to live as He did

That is one of my favorite songs to sing in church, we use to sing it at camp also
Love the song. Pretty much love anything he sings.
Thanks for sharing the video . . . quite moving.
Beautiful post.
well said! This is one of my favorite songs !
Mops is great. I used to attend on occasion, before I moved. Glad you enjoy it too.
Beautiful song, thank you
xx
Bless you Angela...your sweet heart for Jesus! I cried most of this week so I couldn't watch the video but I listened to Todd and the wonderful voice and words he uses for MY JESUS...
"Which Jesus do you follow?
Which Jesus do you serve?"
I appeciate your words and the sheer transparency you share with us to reflect these words! Appearances or masks can make us more fake than the real fakers that try to pull us into their darkness!
Jesus is MORE than enough and truly suffered MORE than enough for each of us! How can people not see this or shun HIM still or deny His deity or existance?
You have provoked some deep issues with your moving song!
Thank you so much for the Blog Tour and being faithful to come around and visit! Great idea and I appreciate and wish it was still going but peopel can always return and join...right? May Our Jesus bless you and make His face to shine upon you...now be gracious unto HIM!!! Enjoy your weekend!
I really enjoy this song! The words are amazing. They alway really make me stop and think about where I am in my walk with God.
Great message. I try to remember when life gets tough, He suffered so much more than I have. Thanks for sharing!

I love Todd Agnew...Great song! "we humans get so caught up in appearances" - why, oh why do we get stuck here?
So powerful! I love this song and the movie... it makes me cry so hard every time. This song is like a sermon in in itself.
YES, this is an awesome song. We love it, too, and to put it to anything from the Passion of the Christ is a great match. Good choice of songs!
Enjoying your blog.....and I'm still working on my mission statement. You know how it is....life happens.
