(Update: Ryan and Elanea now have a prayer blog devoted to his journey with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, called Patient In Affliction.)
Ryan, the son of my mother's best friend, Brenda, has been diagnosed with a form of Hodgskins Lymphomia. Ryan and his wife Elanea are newlyweds living in Western, Pennsylvania where Ryan is employed as a youth pastor.
Hodgskins Lymphomia is considered one of the more curable forms of cancer, but it is still cancer, which means the journey toward recovery could get very rough at times.
I think his mom has started a blog, but I'm not sure about that. I will keep you updated as I know more information. If any of you feel led to donate a blog design for this family, please let me know.
Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Romans 12:11-13

Prayers for healing and restoration for GODS servant and his lovely wife!
I have prayed for this precious young couple and for Ryan. What a testimony he will have for the youth at his church.
I will add them to my prayer list.
Oh, wow. that is heartbreaking. god bless them.
I will be praying for them. I cannot imagine how hard it must be to find this kind of news out as newlyweds, and yet I am sure Ryan feels so thankful to have his new wife right by his side during all of this.
Thanks for letting us know about this couple.
Blessings,
K
